Doroteo “Danny” Daquep Jr., 66, of Pepeekeo died Jan 10 at home. Born in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, he was a farmer and worked at the former Hamakua Sugar Co., Diamond Head Papaya, Mauna Kea Agronomics, King’s Court Pizza and Grill, and Island Fish and Chips. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 29) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire; no flowers.
